I picked that line from a local milk advertisement...
Things you can find here but not there:
1. Fannus
2. Ma'idah Rahman
3. Qamaruddin
You see...they celebrate Ramadhan here just like we celebrate Eid there. The streets are decorated with colorful lik-lak2 lamp and small flags. Most shops or houses hang those fannuses. It just like a fiesta. There are Ma'idah Rahman where the sa'imoon are appreciated and always welcomed (you can see from the Ma'idah Rahman banner, tar7eeb bi dhuyuf Ar-Rahman). People read or recite the Qur'an almost everywhere.
A week or two before Ramadhan, grocery stores began to sell almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, pistachios, cashews, raisins, dates, dried fruits i.e apricot, prunes, figs, coconuts...
Ramadhan Kareem.
